Certes, c'est en anglais... certes, ce sont des conseils que nous connaissons tous (ou presque)... mais ceci, que je viens de recevoir dans un courriel de Valley Succulents, résume bien les principales choses à savoir:

Choose the Right Seeds: Select seeds that are appropriate for your climate and the conditions of your garden. Consider factors like sunlight, soil type, and available space.
Timing is Key: Check your local frost dates and start seeds indoors accordingly. Many plants have specific germination and growth requirements, so timing is crucial for success.
Prepare Your Soil: Use a high-quality seed-starting mix to give your seeds the best possible start. Ensure your containers have good drainage to prevent waterlogging.
Sow with Care: Follow the instructions on the seed packet for proper sowing depth and spacing. Remember, tiny seeds don't need to be buried too deeply!
Keep it Moist: Water gently and regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Using a spray bottle or mister can help prevent disturbing delicate seeds and seedlings.
Provide Adequate Light: Once your seeds germinate, they'll need plenty of light to grow strong and healthy. If you're growing indoors, consider using grow lights or placing your seedlings in a sunny windowsill.
Transplant with TLC: When your seedlings have developed their first true leaves, it's time to transplant them into larger containers or outdoors if the weather permits. Handle them carefully to avoid damaging the delicate roots.
Harden Off: Before transplanting seedlings outdoors, gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions by exposing them to sunlight and outdoor temperatures for increasing periods each day.
Protect from Pests: Keep an eye out for pests like aphids and slugs, especially as your seedlings grow.
Patience is a Virtue: Remember, gardening is a journey, not a race! Be patient with yourself and your plants, and enjoy the process of watching your seeds grow into beautiful flowers and delicious veggies.
So there you have it, folks – some tried-and-true tips to help you start your seeds off on the right foot.
Happy planting, and may your garden be abundant!
